Zelenskyy held a HQ meeting: five issues were considered

On Friday, February 2, President Volodymyr Zelenskyy held a meeting of the Supreme Commander-in-Chief. The entire military command considered five key issues.

In particular, it was about Ukrainian drone production and the situation at the front. The Head of State announced this on his Telegram channel.

"I have held a HQ meeting. Five issues were discussed today," the message reads.

In particular, the meeting participants discussed Ukrainian drone production and agreed on a plan for 2024 .

"Contracts have been increased. We have planned an additional budget specifically for drones and will ensure its implementation. Deputy Prime Minister Fedorov and Defense Minister Umerov made reports. Overall, over 90% of the drones at the front this year are domestically produced. I am grateful to every Ukrainian company that works for our strength. I thank everyone who trains drone operators. I thank every volunteer who helps," the President said.

The second issue was shells, their production and import

"We are also increasing contracts. And we are speeding up the production. The Minister of Defense made a report. I thank everyone who works 24/7 at the production facilities," Zelenskyy explained.

The participants of the meeting also focused on the situation at the front in all key areas.

"Avdiivka is particularly difficult. Chief Zaluzhnyi and the area commanders Moskalev and Syrskyi made reports. I am grateful to all Ukrainian soldiers who are holding their positions and destroying the enemy. We are working with partners to give Ukrainian soldiers more strength," the Head of State noted.

The meeting also included issues of fortifications, in particular, the build-up of such structures .

"Prime Minister Shmyhal's report on financing. The report of the Minister of Defense on the timing of tasks. We are implementing it quickly. I thank everyone involved," Zelenskyy said.

In addition, the participants of the meeting discussed the problems of the Ukrainian energy sector. Among other things, they discussed the restoration of energy facilities after Russian strikes, the physical protection of the energy sector, and our systemic steps.

"Detailed reports. Shmyhal, Kubrakov, Chernyshov, Kudrytskyi. We are going through this heating season steadily. I am grateful to all our energy sector employees and to every soldier who protects us from Russian missiles and drones. The stability of our state and each of its systems is a prerequisite for Ukraine's strength," the president summarized.
