The movie adaptation of the video game "Minecraft" starring Jack Black and Jason Momoa will be released on April 4. And on the eve of the premiere, Warner Bros. presented the final trailer of the adventure film.

The dubbed video was released on the YouTube channel of the studio's Ukrainian division. Unlike the previous one, the new trailer contains a lot of new footage and reveals the universe of the film in a deeper way.

Judging by the new video, Minecraft: The Movie will depart from the tradition of filming or adapting a story familiar to gamers. Instead, the authors focused on recreating the game mechanics that made Minecraft so popular.

In the story, four unlucky people find themselves in the game's universe. Garrett "Scavenger" Garrison (Jason Momoa), Natalie (Emma Myers), Don (Daniel Brooks) and Henry (Sebastian Eugene Hansen) meet a guide, Steve (Jack Black), who is supposed to help them get back. They explore the endless possibilities of Steve's world, where anything can be created with cubes. However, one day they come across Nether, the underworld where there is neither joy nor creativity. Now the heroes must use their creativity to save the beautiful place from the invasion of the inhabitants of Nezer.

The final video of "Minecraft: The Movie" was more favorably received by the game's fans than the first trailer. They were pleased with the large number of characters, objects and locations of the game in the frame (portal to Nether, piggies, gases, elites, mini-zombies on a chicken), as well as the somewhat frantic atmosphere of what is happening on the screen. The film is predicted to be either a huge flop or a huge success - no one seems to be betting that it will become a passing movie event.

The film is directed by Jared Hess (Napoleon Dynamite) and written by Chris Bowman, Gabbel Palmer and Neil Weidner. The cast also includes Jennifer Coolidge, Jemaine Clement and Kate McKinnon, but their roles are not disclosed. Probably, they voiced the animated characters of "Minecraft: The Movie".
