The budget crossover Volkswagen Taigo, based on the VW Polo, will soon receive a new version. The modernized car was shown in the first photos before the premiere. A more stylish design is expected.
Details are reported by Carscoops. The new VW Taigo 2026 model year can be made in the style of the Volkswagen Nivus 2025, which has recently been restyled. This is a variant of the model for the South American market.
The VW Nivus crossover received different bumpers, new headlights and lights, modified wheels, and a new color palette. Similar changes may be in store for the Taigo, which is currently called boring in appearance compared to its rivals.

The company has already declassified another novelty – a cheap crossover for one of the most popular segments. The Volkswagen Tera 2026 budget car is based on the Skoda model. The projected price of the Volkswagen Tera is about $15,000.
The length of the novelty is about 4 m, the crossover is compact. It is based on the MQB-A0 IN platform. The crossover has only front-wheel drive, and under the hood is a 1-liter gasoline engine with a capacity of 116 hp.
