Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky held a regular meeting of the Supreme Command Headquarters. He heard a report from Colonel General Oleksandr Syrsky, commander of the Eastern Group of Forces, whose units, using overkill, stopped the enemy and even repulsed him in some directions.
The head of state announced this in Telegram. He stressed that also discussed the current situation in the combined strategic grouping of troops "Tavria".
"OSGV "Odessa", and "North" - are also under control. Determined their priority needs and got acquainted with the pace of acquisition of equipment and ammunition new brigades," - said the president.
Also, according to Zelenskyy, the participants of the meeting heard the reports of the AFU Commander-in-Chief Valeriy Zaluzhnyy, Defense Minister Oleksiy Reznikov, the AFU General Staff and Minister for Strategic Industries of Ukraine Oleksandr Kamyshyn.
As part of the Stavka, the military command reconciled its long-term contracts for the supply of ammunition and missiles.

As a reminder, on May 10, Syrsky reported that in certain sections of the front in the Bakhmut direction, Ukraine's defenders forced the invaders to retreat up to two kilometers.
He added that the Ukrainian soldiers benefited from the fact that in certain directions the defeated Wagnerian units were "reinforced" by the Russian command with much worse-trained Russian military personnel. However, the prerequisites for such "rotation" - are the result of previous efforts of Ukrainian troops in the Bakhmut direction.
