Usik and Fury may fight in December

Boxing promoters continue their hard work on the organization of the show with Tyson Fury (33-0-1, 24 KOs) and Anthony Joshua (25-3, 22 KOs), Deontay Wilder (43-2-1, 42 KOs) and Alexander Usik (20-0, 13 KOs) from Ukraine. The bouts of the top heavyweights are scheduled for December in Saudi Arabia, where talks with the authorities are underway.

Eddie Hearn, Joshua's promoter, told about it in his interview to Matchroom Boxing YouTube channel. he told that former champion has already agreed to fight Wilder and that the fight will be one of the most exciting moments in the history of world sport.

"They want to make Joshua vs. Wilder and Fury vs. Usik fights. I know the negotiations with Usik and Wilder are going well. We're in it, too. We need to finalize a timeline. But we want this fight. But it's going to take a lot of work for it to come together. In a couple of weeks, we'll decide if Joshua will fight in early August. I can't say that the opponent in a fight like this could be someone in the top five, because we're looking through the prospect of fighting Wilder. It's going to be an incredible event, not only in boxing, but in all of world sports," Hearn said.

The day before, Tyson Fury's father John Fury said that Usik allegedly never wanted to fight his son, which led to the disruption of the April 29 fight. Also, Fury senior added that Tyson would beat Alexander one-handed.

As reported by OBOZREVATEL, the next fight of Alexander Usik caused a real stir in Poland. Earlier, the boxer came to support the Ukrainian military and came under fire from the occupants. In addition, the soldiers of the AFU showed how our champion shoots from a mortar.
