Russians were shocked by a photo from a charity match for Ukraine. They erased any mention of our country

Russian journalists were shocked by the appearance of Samuel Eto'o, the legendary footballer of Catalan club Barcelona and the Cameroon national team. The 2000 Olympic champion appeared in front of the public at Stamford Bridge Stadium in London during the Game4Ukraine charity match.

Sport24.ru published a picture of Eto'o from the match, which was organised by Ukrainians Oleksandr Zinchenko and Andriy Shevchenko. The photo shows that the Cameroonian three-time Champions League winner has put on a lot of weight, which is very different from the way he looked during his career.

At the same time, Russian journalists did not mention that the game in London was in support of Ukraine. They merely noted that Eto'o "took part in a charity match", and the appearance of the Cameroonian caused a real shock to the representatives of the aggressor country.

It should be noted that the meeting between Shevchenko and Zinchenko took place on 6 August and ended in a 2-2 draw. The goals were scored by Real Madrid and AC Milan legend Clarence Seedorf, former Chelsea footballer William Gallas, former Shakhtar Donetsk and Croatia captain Dario Srna and West Ham's Mark Noble.

Before the game, the winner of the 2016 Eurovision Song Contest, Jamala, performed the Ukrainian national anthem in an unusual style and was hated by her compatriots.
