Aleksandr Zinchenko was born in Radomyshl, Zhytomyr region, December 15, 1996.

He studied at the local sports school. During his studies, he played for a team of sports school "Karpaty".

At the age of sixteen, Alexander Zinchenko joined the youth team of FC Shakhtar (Donetsk).

In 2015, Alexander Zinchenko signed a contract with the Russian club "Ufa", for which he successfully played one season and was named the best player of the season.

In 2016, Alexander Zinchenko moved to English FC "Manchester City", with which the footballer signed a contract for five years. However, already in his first season under the new contract, Zinchenko was rented by Dutch FC PSG (Eindhoven).
