Our compatriot took a well-deserved first place
Ukrainian defender of London's Arsenal Oleksandr Zinchenko has received another recognition in England. The 26-year-old Ukrainian national team player's goal in the home match against Burnley was recognized by English fans as the best goal of the month.
The Ukrainian stylishly scored his second goal for the Gunners, acrobatically sending a round ball into the Claret and White goal. 35% of fans voted for our compatriot.
"Zinchenko's sensational scissor kick against Burnley was the goal of the month," reads the Arsenal X account.
Beth Mead's first goal after her injury against West Ham United was ranked second, while Martin Edegor's wonderful strike against Lens was ranked third.
Oleksandr Zinchenko joined Arsenal in July last year. Since then, he has played 52 matches for the capital's team, scoring two goals and making three assists.
