Andriy She vchenko is a legendary Ukrainian soccer player, former coach of the Ukrainian national soccer team and the Italian soccer club Genoa. The winner of Ballon d'Or in 2004.

Andriy Shevchenko was born September 29, 1976 in the village Dvorkovschina, Kyiv region.

He started playing soccer seriously at school age when Shevchenko was invited to the FC Dynamo sports school (Kyiv).

He was called up to the Dynamo 2 squad and became its top scorer.

In 1994 he made his debut in the main "Dynamo" squad in the match against FC "Shakhtar" (Donetsk).
