Dynamo footballer tells what happened to Shevchenko's son in the Ukrainian national team
The English legionnaire of the Ukrainian youth national team, Christian Shevchenko, had difficulty communicating with the national team players because of the language barrier. At the same time, the striker quickly managed to join the team and become his own.
Taras Mykhavko, a defender of Dynamo Kyiv, told zbirna.com in an interview. According to him, the son of the legendary Andriy Shevchenko is a very sociable person with whom the players of the Ukrainian U-19 national team quickly got along.
"Christian is a great person and a good footballer. He's quite sociable and team-oriented. It was just a bit difficult at the first training camp because he didn't speak Ukrainian so well. But that's okay, because we improved his English a little bit. Now there are no problems, we have established great communication. Christian was well received in the team and he has also established a great relationship with all of us," said Mykhavko.
It should be noted that Ukraine's youth national team had an unsuccessful start at the 2024 European Championships, drawing with Northern Ireland.
As reported by OBOZ.UA, the head coach of the Ukrainian U-19 national team Dmytro Mykhailenko told what is happening in the team with Christian Shevchenko.
