For the first time after the arrest: it became known where Usyk will appear in public. There will be a meeting with Fury
Former absolute world heavyweight champion Oleksandr Usyk (22-0, 14 KOs) and British boxer Tyson Fury (34-1-1, 24 KOs) will meet for the first time since their fight on May 18. Both boxers will be present at Wembley Stadium in London during the show, the main event of which will be the fight between Anthony Joshua (26-3, 23 KOs) and Daniel Dubois (21-2, 20 KOs).
Famous insider Michael Benson wrote about this on his page on the social network X, formerly known as Twitter. According to him, Usyk and Fury have reserved seats on the ringside of the fight between the two Britons. It is not yet known whether Oleksandr and Tyson will enter the ring for a duel of wills.
It is also known that a Ukrainian and a Briton will take part in the boxing festival, and they will be the headliners, while our compatriot will close the event.
It should be noted that the rematch between Usyk and Fury is scheduled for December 21 in Riyadh. The Ukrainian unified champion has already spoken out about what will happen if the Briton refuses to fight again.
On the eve of his visit to London, our boxer had an incident in Krakow, Poland, when he was detained and handcuffed. Usyk was soon released and commented on the situation.
Polish authorities accused Oleksandr and his friend of inappropriate behavior. In his turn, Usyk's promoter Oleksandr Krasiuk published all the details of Usyk's arrest, refuting the version of the Krakow border guards.
