Ukraine is preparing an internal Strengthening Plan – the tasks that the country needs to accomplish to win the war. One of its key elements will be economic – aimed at unleashing the country's internal economic power. In this regard, business was invited to join the development of the Plan.

This was announced by President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy during the Kyiv International Economic Forum. He noted that

  • "The economic block of the Plan is led by Minister of Economy Yulia Svyrydenko;
  • "the strategic vision of entrepreneurs will be taken into account."

"In these weeks, we are preparing our internal Plan for strengthening Ukraine, our internal resilience, and our internal tasks for victory. One of the key elements in it will be the economic element, the business element, how we can unleash Ukraine's internal economic power through deregulation, normal competition, the potential of our entrepreneurship to strengthen the strength of Ukrainian sovereignty and our defense against external aggression," the president said.

He also emphasized that every working enterprise is "an investment in the future of the state." Just as "all saved jobs, every new job for our people, all saved and new production" are "part of internal security guarantees for Ukraine."

"And we have to increase such guarantees," Zelenskyy summarized.

For his part, Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal noted that the government's goal is to increase the number of "Ukrainian businesses of different levels and sizes" to create jobs. And also to change the structure of the country's economy from raw materials to processing.

To this end, he noted, among other things, about 100 industrial parks for the processing industry have been opened. In addition, the government continues to issue grants under the eRobot program to start and develop new Ukrainian enterprises, etc.

As OBOZ.UA reported, remote work is becoming increasingly popular in Ukraine. One of the reasons is the opportunity to earn good money without leaving home. In particular, some employers are willing to pay their employees about UAH 50 thousand in salary.
