Yulia Sviridenko

Yulia Sviridenko - First Deputy Prime Minister - Minister of Economy of Ukraine, former deputy head of the Office of the President of Ukraine, acting head of Chernihiv Regional State Administration in 2018.

Brief biography

Yulia Sviridenko was born on December 25, 1985 in Chernihiv.

She received her higher education in Kyiv Trade and Economic University, specializing in "management of antimonopoly activity".

In 2009, she took an accounting course at the Kyiv School of Market Economy. She also completed courses at the State Property Fund of Ukraine. She is a certified specialist in real estate and equipment valuation and valuation of business, securities, intangible assets and intellectual property.

In 2011, she was appointed head of Chernihiv's permanent representative office in Wuxi (PRC) on a voluntary basis, where she was engaged in attracting investments into the economy of Chernihiv and Chernihiv region.

In May 2015, Sviridenko became an advisor to the head of Chernihiv Oblast State Administration. Subsequently, she headed the Department of Economic Development of the Regional State Administration.

In September 2017, she became Acting First Deputy Head of Chernihiv OSA, and subsequently received the position on a permanent basis.

During July 30 - November 28, 2018, she was acting head of Chernihiv OSA.

In September 2019, she became Deputy Minister of Development of Economy, Trade and Agriculture of Ukraine.

Since July 2020, she became First Deputy Minister of Development of Economy, Trade and Agriculture of Ukraine.

Since December 2020, she was appointed Deputy Head of the Office of the President.

Appointment to the Cabinet of Ministers

On November 4, 2021 was in the Verkhovna Rada voted for the appointment of Sviridenko to the post of First Deputy Prime Minister - Minister of Economy of Ukraine.

Family

Sviridenko is married to businessman Serhiy Derlemenko.
