The famous glossy came out with a cover about Ukraine

People all over the world are working to defend Ukraine, not only military personnel but also people who are far from military affairs. Even such giants as Microsoft, Amazon, Google, and Starlink have joined the effort, allocating hundreds of millions of dollars to defend our country.

This is exactly what Time magazine writes about, with its latest issue featuring a cover story about Ukraine. The magazine describes "how tech giants have turned Ukraine into a military laboratory of artificial intelligence."

An example is the American face recognition company Clearview AI. It is known that as soon as Russia invaded Ukraine, Clearview CEO Hoan Ton-That sent a letter to official Kyiv offering assistance. The company helped identify more than 230,000 Russians in Ukraine, as well as the exact location of collaborators and abducted children.

Time also talks about the visit of Palantir Technologies founder Alex Karp to Ukraine in the summer of 2022. Palantir is a developer of artificial intelligence for analyzing various data. However, the company's main customers are intelligence agencies, investment banks, and hedge funds.

"Palantir has become involved in the daily work of the Ukrainian government in wartime in an unprecedented way. The company's products are used by more than half a dozen Ukrainian agencies, including the ministries of defense, economy, and education," the publication writes.

The Ukrainian Armed Forces already have a software engineer in every battalion. Experiments in the field of military AI are being conducted not only in offices but also on the battlefield. "This is the most significant fundamental change in the nature of warfare ever recorded in history," the publication quotes former Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff Mark Milley.
