Usyk and Lomachenko support the UOC-MP

Famous Ukrainian boxers Vasyl Lomachenko and Oleksandr Usyk decided to wish Ukrainians a Merry Christmas on January 7. The athletes actively support the UOC-MP and, despite the transition of the Orthodox Church of Ukraine to the New Julian calendar, continue to celebrate the holiday in the old style, not on December 25.

Lomachenko left a message in Russian on his Instagram page. "Merry Christmas! Peace and Goodness!" the boxer wrote, which, of course, caused incredible delight among representatives of the aggressor country.

On Instagram Stories, Usyk addressed his fans in Ukrainian. "Merry Christmas! Christ is born, let us glorify him," Oleksandr wrote.

Recently, Lomachenko has been known to attack the head of the OCU, Epifaniy, throwing a real tantrum over an interview with the head of the Ukrainian church, and was marked by a shaft of Kremlin narratives.

"There is the strongest persecution of people who do not want to join the OCU, sincerely believing Christians see what is happening and understand where the true apostolic church is! Most people are against joining a church that preaches violence and hatred!" Vasyl wrote.

It should also be noted that on December 25 last year, Lomachenko refused to congratulate Ukrainians on "the wrong Christmas."

As reported by OBOZ.UA, Vasyl Lomachenko called for the punishment of Kremlin agents in the UOC-MP, answering a fan's question on Instagram.
