"I don't want to talk about it": Joshua on his expectations from Usyk-Fury fight
The unified heavyweight champion Oleksandr Usyk (21-0, 14 KOs) will be the favorite in his fight against Tyson Fury (34-0-1, 24 KOs). The Ukrainian has an advantage in boxing skills due to his amateur career. He also adapts perfectly to any opponent.
This opinion was expressed by former two-time world champion Anthony Joshua (27-3, 24 KOs) in an interview with Sky Sports. Recalling his lost confrontations with Usyk, the Watford native noted that he faced different styles of our compatriot in two fights, and this will be a problem for Fury.
"Who will win? I don't want to talk about it. I don't know. I give preference to Usyk. He's a really good fighter, and I've never fought Tyson Fury before, so I don't know how strong he is. I fought Usyk twice, and in each of these fights he fought differently. Usyk is a good fighter who knows how to adapt to the conditions, so I think he will win," Joshua said.
Earlier, he admitted that he would like Fury to win, and his promoter Eddie Hearn called Tyson a "downed pilot" and wished Usyk a defeat.
Riyadh unveiled a special belt that would be awarded to the winner of the confrontation. Its appearance caused outrage among fans.
