First Lady of Ukraine Olena Zelenska said that the carefree smile of her husband, President Volodymyr Zelenskyy, would mean to her that the worst is over. In her opinion, it is a good mood that will indicate the victory of the Motherland.
Zelenska does not claim that her husband has not smiled at all since the beginning of Russia's full-scale invasion. She wants to see the emotions of the "pre-war era". The first lady said this in an interview with the Slovenian magazine OnaPlus.
"I dream of seeing a carefree smile of the pre-war era on my husband's face. It would mean that the worst is over, that we have succeeded. There is still a lot of work to be done, but the death and destruction will finally be over," she explained.

Another dream of the first lady is to be able to spend a lot of time with her family, which is currently occupied by work. Earlier, she said that she rarely sees her husband because of scheduling overlaps, and her children, 19-year-old Oleksandra and 11-year-old Kyrylo, meet him for about a few hours once a week. Therefore, the family is very rarely together.
Since the beginning of Russia's full-scale invasion, the security of the presidential family has become the most important issue for the Zelenski, which is why the first lady hardly sees her friends. She was able to meet with her friend Olena Kravets only recently for the first time in three years, and only for a few minutes.
"I dream of being with my family not only when I have time, but as much as I want. I dream of seeing my friends wherever and whenever I want," she said.
