Olena Zelenskaya

OlenaVladimirovna Zelenskaya(Kiyashko) is the first lady of Ukraine, wife of Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky.

Brief biography

Elena Zelenskaya was born on February 16, 1978 in the city of Krivoy Rog in Dnepropetrovsk region.

Creativity Elena Zelenskaya began at school, performing at amateur school stage.

After school she successfully entered Faculty of Construction of Krivoy Rog National University, from which she graduated as "architect" with honors with an absolute "A" degree.

After meeting Vladimir Zelensky, Elena joined the creative team, first the KVN team "95th Quarter" and later the Studio "95th Quarter". Soon Yelena Zelenskaya became one of the scriptwriters of the Studio "Kvartal 95", was engaged in writing texts and developing jokes.

Elena Zelenskaya, together with Valery Zhidkov and Alexander Pikalov, acted as the scriptwriter of the musical-comedy "Like Cossacks", which premiered on the Ukrainian TV channel "Inter" in 2009.

In addition, it is Olena Zelenskaya is credited with the creation and development of the screen image of the main character of the series "Servant of the People" Vasily Goloborodko.

Personal life

With her husband, Vladimir Zelensky, Elena Zelenskaya met when she studied at university. It helped the couple to get acquainted by a VHS cassette with the erotic thriller "Basic Instinct".

From the meeting to the wedding between Elena and Vladimir Zelenski long eight years passed.

Elena Zelenskaya and her husband are raising two children - son Kirill and daughter Alexandra.

Coronavirus COVID-19

On June 12, 2020, it became known that Zelenskaya had been diagnosed with the COVID-19 coronavirus. The Office of the President noted that the disease was asymptomatic in the first lady. However, on 16 June it became known that Zelenskaya was taken to the hospital with bilateral pneumonia.

At the same time, tests of Vladimir Zelenski and the children showed negative results.
