Famous Ukrainian fitness trainer Anita Lutsenko teaches people how to keep their bodies in shape. Exercise and proper nutrition are the keys to a slim figure and harmonious well-being.

However, we often come across the phrase: "Eat to the end" because it is a sin to throw away food. On her Instagram page, the trainer tries to refute this rule from the Soviet era.

"How often this phrase has been and still is heard in kitchens and cafes, and even more often in our heads. It is because we all heard it so often in our childhood," says Anita.

Lutsenko emphasizes that if we sit over a plate for a long time and continue to eat "because we have to," we stop listening to our bodies and overeat automatically.

"It's okay to leave food behind. Even throwing it away in the trash is also normal when it's no longer needed," the trainer emphasizes.

Anita Lutsenko identifies several reasons why you don't want to eat. And she advises how to deal with it:

  1. Because you had something sweet before eating. This 100% reduces appetite.
  2. There is really too much food. You need to reduce the portion.
  3. Because the body is already full and it's enough. You don't need to bring down its natural feelings by forcing yourself or others.
  4. Heavily processed food, fast food, has the effect of making you unable to stop. Simple food does not cause this "eat it all" effect. It is better to eat homemade food and not so much.
