For the first time in a long time, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy and his wife, First Lady Olena Zelenska, went out together. They visited a large foster family that lost their home near Kakhovka, Kherson region, due to the bloody war, to personally hand over the keys to their new home.
The house, which was bought by a large family, was built as part of the second wave of the "Address of Childhood" project founded by the Olena Zelenska Foundation. The public figure shared the footage and details of the meeting on her Telegram channel.
The presidential couple visited the new home of a large family in the Kyiv region and talked to its members. The First Lady wished the family to feel comfortable in their new place and make friends with their neighbors as soon as possible, and for the children to find all the necessary clubs.
"People who, despite all the difficulties of wartime, find the strength and ability to create large foster families, give faith to the whole country in humanity and goodness. The day before, we met with just such a family, who lost their home because they had to evacuate from Kakhovka in 2022. We visited them to hand over the keys to the new house that the Foundation built as part of the second wave of the 'Childhood Address' project," Olena Zelenska wrote.
To meet with the large foster family, the first lady wore a stylish outfit, combining classic dark pants with a bright red sweater. She opted for loose hair with a side parting, and her makeup was traditionally done in brown shades. For his part, Volodymyr Zelenskyy visited his family in green pants and a patriotic sweater with the Ukrainian coat of arms.
