Lavrov calls Zelenskyy "a pure Nazi and a traitor to the Jewish people"

The spokesman for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine, Heorhii Tykhyi, responded to the statement by Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov, who called President Volodymyr Zelenskyy "a pure Nazi and a traitor to the Jewish people." He called on Israel to condemn this "disgusting lie" by the Russian diplomat.

On the social network X, Tykhyi recalled that in 2022 Lavrov had already claimed that Adolf Hitler had "Jewish blood." At the same time, the Foreign Ministry spokesman emphasized that the Russian's statements were "not just crazy," but anti-Semitic.

"Such statements are not just crazy. They should be accused of what they really are: anti-Semitism," he wrote.

The Ukrainian Foreign Ministry called on Israel and Jewish organizations around the world to condemn Lavrov's repeated and outrageous lies.

As reported, in 2022, Israeli Foreign Minister Yair Lapid called Lavrov's words "inexcusable, outrageous" and a "gross historical mistake."

As OBOZ.UA previously reported, Lavrov once again said that Russia would not agree to "territorial concessions" during negotiations with Ukraine. But before discussing territories, he suggests starting with issues that are more important for Russian propaganda, such as the ban on the Russian language in Ukraine and the UOC-MP.

Earlier, the Russian minister spoke about the possibility of deploying foreign peacekeepers in Ukraine. According to Lavrov, the Kremlin is not considering such options.

The Kremlin also stated that there would be no halt to hostilities in Ukraine along the contact line. The occupiers intend to continue the war of aggression on foreign territory, which they have already written into their constitution.
