President Volodymyr Zelensky arrived near Bakhmut, Donetsk Region on July 29, which has been an impregnable fortress for Russian invaders for many months. He congratulated the brave fighters on the Day of the AFU Special Operations Forces and heard reports from the commanders of this area.

He then visited the command center of the SOF tactical groups in Chasiv Yar. Zelensky listened to the commander's report on the operational situation in the area of responsibility, the fulfillment of special tasks and the units' need for weapons, equipment and machinery.
