Zaluzhnyi and Umierov congratulated the commander and soldiers of the Land Forces on their professional holiday

Minister of Defense of Ukraine Rustem Umierov and Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces Valerii Zaluzhnyi congratulated the Commander of the Land Forces, Colonel General Oleksandr Syrskyi, and the soldiers on their professional holiday. Our defenders were presented with awards.

Umierov posted about the meeting with the soldiers on Facebook. He noted that the commander of the Khortytsia separate military unit reported on the situation in the eastern part of the front and the key needs of the soldiers.

In addition, the military leaders discussed the training of recruits and the strengthening of fortifications along the entire contact line.

"We are developing a joint action plan and assessing threats," Umerov said.

According to him, Ukraine's military leadership is currently working to increase the supply of weapons to the front. The state is also launching production and expanding the possibilities of purchasing UAVs, both reconnaissance and strike.

As a reminder, on the Day of the Land Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Valerii Zaluzhnyi, Commander of the Tavria Operational and Strategic Group of Forces Oleksandr Tarnavskyi and Commander of the Land Forces of Ukraine Oleksandr Syrskyi congratulated the soldiers on their professional holiday. For the second year in a row, Ukrainians have been celebrating it in the midst of a major war.

"Day always comes after night. And every war ends in victory. Our victory. Glory to Ukraine," Syrskyi said.

As reported by OBOZ.UA:

- The day before, Syrskyi said that the occupiers are trying to capture the village of Synkivka, Kharkiv region. The enemy is suffering significant losses in manpower, so it is redeploying assault units that were in reserve to this area.

- Commander Syrskyi emphasized that the situation in eastern Ukraine remains tense. The enemy continues active offensive operations along the entire frontline.
