On Saturday, December 30, a powerful explosion occurred in the temporarily occupied Sevastopol in Crimea. It was so strong that the windows in the city center shook.
This was reported by the Telegram channel Krym.Realii. It is noted that it was loud in the city at about 9:44 local time. The "governor" Mikhail Razvozhayev explained the "loud sounds" by repelling a surface drone attack.
"According to information from the military, a UAV was destroyed by helicopters three kilometers from Sevastopol Bay in the open sea," he wrote.
We would like to remind you that several explosions were also heard in Sevastopol the day before. Some people thought they were the sounds of artillery volleys. The sounds came from the area of Kozacha Bay. The media assumed that the Russian artillery could have started training at the training ground.
Satellite images, showing the aftermath of a Ukrainian strike on the port in the temporarily occupied Feodosiia on the night of December 26, were also published online. They show the Russian large landing ship Novocherkassk destroyed by the strike. Other damaged objects in the port are also visible.
