"We discussed plans for the winter period": Zaluzhny speaks with Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff Brown
On Monday, November 13, Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Valeriy Zaluzhny had a phone call with Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff Charles Brown. The generals discussed the situation at the front and plans for the winter period.
Zaluzhny spoke about the phone conversation with Brown on his Telegram channel. According to the commander-in-chief, they discussed the urgent needs of the Ukrainian army.
Zaluzhny told Brown in detail what was happening on the frontline and named the hottest areas.
"Avdiivka, Kupyansk and Maryinka areas remain the hottest. The situation is complicated and under control," noted the Commander-in-Chief.
At the same time, he emphasized that despite this, the Ukrainian Armed Forces continue to advance in certain areas and inflict significant losses in manpower and equipment on the enemy.
"We also discussed our plans for the winter period with General Brown and focused on the urgent needs of the Ukrainian army. First of all, we are talking about shells, air defense equipment and UAVs," noted Zaluzhny.
The generals also discussed the training of Ukrainian servicemen and the restoration of combat capability of the units.
Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Valeriy Zaluzhny thanked the American partners for their support and assistance to Ukraine in the fight against the Russian aggressor.
