Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said that Ukrainian defenders are succeeding in liberating the country's territories and, most importantly, people from the occupation. According to the head of state, he is proud of every soldier who fights back against the occupants.

The corresponding message appeared on this official Telegram channel on September 8. The President published a new series of photos from the front (to see, scroll to the end of the news).

"Our warriors are young men and I am proud of every one of them. I am proud of every man and woman who is repelling Russian assaults and destroying Russian terrorists on the front line. We are succeeding in liberating our land and people from the occupation, which is the most important thing," he said.

The day before, Zelensky responded to Western critics, saying that the counter-offensive of the AFU is moving faster than the new sanctions against Russia. He emphasized that Ukraine needs more powerful long-range weapons to liberate Ukrainian territories faster.
