On Thursday, July 4, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy held a meeting of the Staff HQ meeting. The main topics of discussion were the production and supply of drones and electronic warfare systems.

The head of state spoke about this in his usual evening video address. According to Zelenskyy, the meeting was long, and he heard a report on the situation at the front.

"It was a long meeting, with drones and electronic warfare among the main topics in the reports today. Production in Ukraine, financing, supply and use. All the specifics, from the most popular ones at the front, including FPV. Of course, maximum attention to our long-range drones," the President said.

He noted that the Commander of the Unmanned Systems Forces Vadym Sukharevskyi, Commander of the Air Force Mykola Oleshchuk, Deputy Prime Minister Mykhailo Fedorov, and Head of the Ministry of Strategic Industries Oleksandr Kamyshyn made presentations at the meeting.

"We have made very important decisions. Time will show these decisions at the front," Zelenskyy added.

According to the Head of State, Defense Minister Rustem Umerov briefed him on the details of his trip to the United States, negotiations and implementation of defense packages that the United States has already announced but has not yet delivered to Ukraine.

"We are pushing this logistics," Zelenskyy said.

For his part, Armed Forces chief Oleksandr Syrskyi briefed the president on the situation on the main fronts.

"Most of the fighting is in the Pokrovske direction, in our Donetsk region, but we are now strengthening every direction, from Kharkiv to the south," Zelenskyy said.

As reported, Ukraine has begun mass production of its own long-range attack drones. They are used to strike strategic enemy targets at a distance of more than 1000 km.
