"Ukraine needs permission to use long-range weapons against Russian military targets": Zelenskyy names four countries that do not give it
Ukraine needs a permit to use long-range weapons to strike military targets in Russia. This decision depends on four countries: the United States, the United Kingdom, France, and Germany.
These countries can provide such weapons. This was stated by President Volodymyr Zelenskyy during a joint press conference with Irish Prime Minister Simon Harris.
"With all due respect to each country and certainly to our partners in Ireland, we need permission to use long-range weapons from the countries that provide us with these weapons. It depends on them, not on a coalition of all the friendly countries in the world. It depends on very specific states: The United States, the United Kingdom, France, Germany," Zelenskyy emphasized.
According to him, today only these four countries provide, or can provide, the long-range weapons that "can help push the Russian Federation out of our territory." These are the countries that can help save the lives of Ukrainian civilians in Poltava, Lviv, Kharkiv, Kyiv, Dnipro, Kryvyi Rih, and other cities of Ukraine that are being attacked by Russian terrorists with missiles every day.
"Every day we lose people. And our strength in solving these problems depends on these four countries," the President of Ukraine emphasized.
As reported by OBOZ.UA, in a telephone conversation the day before, Zelenskyy asked Trudeau to strengthen advocacy among Western partners to permit Ukraine to use long-range weapons in the territory of the Russian Federation. Canada also received the current needs of the Defense Forces, including air defense systems and armored vehicles.
