"There will definitely be a Ukrainian victory." Zelenskyy visits Armed Forces brigades performing combat missions in Kupiansko-Lymansk sector. Video
President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy visited the combat brigades of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the Kupiansko-Lymanskyi sector of the frontline. The Head of State discussed the operational situation on the battlefield, current issues and needs with the brigade commanders and combatants.
The corresponding video was posted on the Ukrainian leader's Telegram. The 103rd separate territorial defense brigade, the 68th separate hunting brigade named after Oleksa Dovbush, and the 25th separate airborne Sicheslav brigade are deployed in this area of the front (to watch the video, scroll to the end of the news).
"Each of our combat brigades, each soldier who destroys the occupiers, with each step forward, affirms that the Ukrainian victory will certainly come. You are the power! Thank you for your service!" the president wrote.
During the visit to the front, the Head of State listened to the report of the commander of the operational and tactical group "Liman" Oleksandr Hruzevych on the operational situation in the area of responsibility. The Kupiansko-Lymanskyi direction is one of the hottest on the frontline. Russian occupants are constantly trying to conduct offensive actions there.
The military informed the President about the priority needs of the units, most often mentioning frontline air defense and electronic warfare equipment, certain types of ammunition, and asked for simplification of regulatory procedures and elimination of bureaucratic obstacles that hinder recruitment.
The President presented awards to servicemen and combat medics who distinguished themselves while defending Ukraine, expressing gratitude to them for protecting the state.
"I wish all of you only victory, health, to return alive, not to lose the motivation with which you so strongly defend the sovereignty of our state and the future of our generations," Zelenskyy said.
The Head of State also visited the tank unit of the 21st Separate Mechanized Brigade, where he inspected the equipment transferred to the Ukrainian army by Western partners, including Leopard-2 tanks and CV-90 infantry fighting vehicles. They were used in the battles in the Kupiansk sector. The President spoke with the crews of these vehicles.
The day before, the President said that in September, Russia fired 246 missiles, 746 drones and 1159 guided bombs at Ukraine. Most of them were aimed at civilian objects.
The Head of State thanked the partners for each air defense unit provided. After all, it was thanks to this that tens of thousands of lives and hundreds of infrastructure facilities were saved.
