President Volodymyr Zelenskyy held a meeting with the Supreme Commander-in-Chief on Tuesday, August 6. He heard reports on the situation at the front in the Pokrovsk, Toretsk, and Kharkiv sectors.

The officials also discussed the production of Ukrainian-made drones and missiles. The Head of State announced this on his Telegram channel.

The key issue at today's meeting was the situation at the front. Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Oleksandr Syrskyi reported via video link, as he is directly at the front and keeps the situation under his personal control. Particular attention was paid to the Pokrovsk, Toretsk and Kharkiv directions.

Separate reports were made by the Main Intelligence Directorate (DIU) and the Foreign Intelligence Service (FISU) on the forecasts of the situation and the immediate goals of the Russian troops.

Another important issue discussed during the meeting was the provision of the Defense Forces with domestic drones and missiles. Defense Minister Rustem Umerov, Deputy Prime Minister for Innovation Mykhailo Fedorov, and Minister for Strategic Industries Oleksandr Kamyshin reported on the needs of the Defense Forces by the end of the year and the dynamics of arms production.

"It was decided that additional funding will be allocated to our missile program after HQ meeting. There will be more missiles of our own production," Zelenskyy said.

In addition, Defense Minister Rustem Umerov also presented a report on the supply of weapons and equipment to additional brigades. Active work with international partners to provide the military with all the necessary equipment and weapons continues.
