On the night of Tuesday, December 5, local residents complained of explosions in the area of Kerch, temporarily occupied by Russian troops in Crimea. They wrote online that there were about 30 of them and that they shook the houses.
Later, it also became known about explosions near the oil depot in Feodosia, and Crimeans shared the information in local chats on Telegram. Subsequently, the Russian Defense Ministry traditionally reported on the "successful repulsion" of the attack by allegedly 22 "Ukrainian" drones.
For example, one user wrote that in Kerch, they first heard the sound of attack drones flying overhead, followed by explosions.
Other users noted that there were allegedly "at least 30 drones" and they hit the plant.
"There were 30 drones, if not more!", "We woke up to the sounds of explosions, even if everything was fine, but they hit something. We live nearby, 40 km from the bridge, the house was shaking for about 10 minutes, my friends wrote that they hit the plant", "We are waiting. But it's clear what's going on.", "We heard the sounds of drones, similar to the sounds of shaheds, and then a series of explosions. The whole house is shaking!", "A concrete rumble!", "Scary" - they wrote online.
Russian propaganda channels stated that at least nine explosions were heard in the area of Arshyntseve and the village of Voikove. There were also reports of a temporary suspension of traffic on the Crimean bridge.
The Crimean Wind Telegram channel noted that explosions were heard again in Feodosia at 06:05, 06:08, 06:14, and 06:25 local time. Subscribers wrote about the flight of missiles. It was also very loud in Old Crimea.
At the same time, the Russian aggressor country's Defense Ministry said that Russian air defense repelled the attack of the "Kyiv regime." They claimed to have "destroyed 22" and "intercepted 30" drones over the Sea of Azov and the peninsula.
As reported by OBOZ.UA, Russian propagandists complained that "two saboteurs" allegedly poisoned dozens of occupants in occupied Simferopol. The "nice girls" treated the invaders with poisoned alcohol and food in one of the military units, as a result of which 20 Russian soldiers died and 11 more were hospitalized.
