The Ukrainian Defense Forces continue their offensive operation in three directions of the front, that includes Melitopol, Berdyansk and Bakhmut. In the direction of the latter, the defenders advanced 1.2-1.5 thousand meters towards Klishchiivka and Kurdiumivka.
At the same time, the Russian occupants are unsuccessfully advancing in the Lyman, Avdiivka and Marinka directions. Deputy Defense Minister Hanna Maliar spoke about the situation in these sections of the front (to see the maps, scroll to the end of the news).
"Our people "gnaw out" every meter of land from the enemy in a tough fight. They have success," she stressed.
Southern Ukraine
According to Malyar, AFU have success in the direction of Rivnopil-Volodino. They are now consolidating on the achieved lines and inflicting serious losses on the enemy. They are practically bleeding the offensive potential of the Russian army, destroying its equipment, warehouses, control points and personnel.

"In the Zaporizhzhia and Melitopol directions we are destroying the enemy. The occupants are pulling up all their reserves for defense, even a brigade of marines, which once escaped from Kherson. There is an advance of 1,300 meters in the Berdyansk direction," stressed the deputy head of the Ministry of Defense.

Eastern Ukraine
It is noted that in the Bakhmut direction the Ukrainian troops have taken the operational initiative. Although the enemy is trying to hold the occupied positions and conducts counterattacks, but also gradually retreats after suffering losses.
The defenders of Ukraine have already advanced 1,200 meters in the direction of Klishchiivka (9 km from Bakhmut) and 1,500 meters to Kurdiumivka (17 km from the city center).

At the same time, fierce fighting continues on the flanks of the city: the AFU has success and now consolidates on the liberated lines.
