Anna V. M alyar - Deputy Minister of Defense of Ukraine, lawyer, PhD in law, public figure.
Anna Malyar was born on July 28, 1978 in Kiev.
She received her degree at the International Institute of Linguistics and Law in 2000.
In 2007 she received her law degree, and three years later she received her PhD in Law.
She studied negotiation in armed conflicts at the Netherlands Institute of International Relations Clingendael.
She worked at the State Research Institute of Customs and also taught at the National School of Judges of Ukraine.
In August 2021 she was appointed Deputy Minister of Defense of Ukraine.
Malyar is the author of more than 40 scientific works. She is also the author of the concept of legal assessment of the events in Crimea and eastern Ukraine, which is used in investigative and judicial practice.
Malyar is married. Together with her husband she raises a son.
