The Ukrainian military has been holding the advantage for several days now. Ukrainian Deputy Defense Minister Anna Malyar reported this on her Telegram channel.
"In Bakhmut for several days our defenders keep under fire control the entrances, exits and movement of the enemy in the city," the message said.
Malyar explained that this was possible due to the fact that in the process of advancing our troops took control of the main dominant heights around Bakhmut.

It should be noted that the commander of the AFU Ground Forces, Colonel-General Oleksandr Syrskyy, reported on the success of the Ukrainian defenders near Bakhmut the previous day.
