The occupiers complained about a morning attack on Sevastopol: windows shook as explosions erupted in the far districts of the city

Russian occupiers in the temporarily occupied Crimea complained about the attack on Sevastopol. An air raid alert was activated in the city.

This was reported by local Telegram channels, citing Kremlin proxies. The so-called governor of Sevastopol in the temporarily occupied Crimea, Mikhail Rozvozhayev, said that Russian air defense allegedly shot down an air target over the sea in the morning.

The Russian Defense Ministry claims that three missiles were destroyed over the Black Sea.

At the same time, locals say that explosions were heard at 5:15 am.

In the far districts of the city, window in residential houses were shaking. The sounds were similar to those of a ground explosion.

The air raid alert was activated in the city. It is noteworthy that the Russian authorities rarely announce nighttime alerts: it happened only a few times.

As a reminder, on the night of April 17, explosions were heard in the city of Dzhankoi. A massive fire broke out near the military airfield. Our sources said that this could have been the result of a joint operation by the Armed Forces and the DIU, which led to large-scale consequences and enemy losses.

The VIIRS/Suomi NPP satellite detected six fires after the explosions in Dzhankoi. All of them are located on the territory and near the military airfield.

After the explosions in Dzhankoi (temporarily occupied Crimea), a photo confirmation of the damaged and destroyed air defense equipment of the aggressor country of the Russian Federation appeared on the Internet. The area of the military airfield of the 39th Helicopter Regiment of the 4th Army of the Air Force and Air Defense (military unit 46453) of the enemy came under fire.

As previously reported, Natalia Humeniuk, a representative of the South military command, emphasized that the Russian invaders' military airfield in Dzhankoi is a legitimate target for the Ukrainian Defense Forces.
