The assistance is in addition to the commitments under the bilateral security agreement

In a telephone conversation with President Volodymyr Zelenskyy, Prime Minister of the Netherlands Mark Rutte announced that his country would provide Ukraine with another €400 million. The assistance is in addition to the commitments under the bilateral security agreement between Ukraine and the Netherlands.

Volodymyr Zelenskyy wrote about this on Telegram. The President also said what the money will be used for.

According to the head of state, one billion euros have been allocated for military assistance to Ukraine, and 400 million euros will be used to rebuild the country.

Zelenskyy thanked Rutte and the Dutch people for their help, emphasizing that this is an exemplary example of support for Ukraine.

The President also said that he had discussed with the Prime Minister of the Netherlands joint work with partners to speed up the supply of air defense systems, artillery shells, and ammunition to Ukraine.

"I thanked for the effective Justice for Ukraine conference in The Hague and the launch of the Register of Damages as a result of it. I spoke about the preparation of the Peace Summit in Switzerland and invited the Netherlands to join. We also discussed the necessary efforts to ensure that as many countries as possible support this event," Zelenskyy added.
