President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy met in Brussels with President of the European Council Charles Michel. The key topic of the talks was the presentation of the Victory Plan.
The Head of State emphasized that Ukraine counts on the EU's active participation in the implementation of the Victory Plan. Zelenskyy said this in his Telegram.
According to the President, during the meeting with the President of the European Council, he discussed the implementation of the Peace Formula, further defense support, and Ukraine's movement to the EU.
In addition, the presidents of Ukraine and the European Council emphasized the need to strengthen sanctions against Russia and ensure the stability of the Ukrainian economy and financial system.
Zelenskyy also noted that during the presentation of the Victory Plan, he emphasized that all of its points should make Ukraine stronger and more ready for diplomacy. At the same time, the President said that the implementation of the plan largely depends on the support of partners.
"I personally thank Charles Michel for his leadership throughout all the years of his presidency, for all the decisions in support of our state and people," Zelenskyy said.

On October 17, Zelenskyy took part in a meeting of the European Council in Brussels, Belgium. He presented to the European partners the Ukraine Victory Plan, which, according to him, could end the war "no later than next year."
