This was reported by the head of the regional state administration, Oleh Kiper, on Telegram. Mayor Hennadiy Trukhanov wrote that emergency and operational services are working at the site. It is currently known that one person was injured in the attack . The 55-year-old man was hospitalized in moderate condition.

"For the second day in a row, the enemy has been massively attacking Odesa with attack drones. As a result of today's strike, fires broke out on the roof of a catering establishment and a warehouse building, an administrative building, a car wash, a roadway, and the glazing of a private house were damaged," the statement said.

The official added that the attack also left about five thousand residents of one of Odesa's districts without electricity.

"All authorized services are currently working to eliminate the consequences of both today's and yesterday's attacks. As a result of two days of attacks on Odesa district, 89500 subscribers are currently without electricity. The work is ongoing around the clock," he summarized.

Trukhanov clarified that after the operational services are finished, local specialists will be able to start restoring the heating system. And utilities will be able to eliminate the consequences of the attack.

"The operational headquarters and the district administration are working on site. Starting from 8 a.m., it will be possible to submit documents for the restoration of windows and doors, and in the case of the private sector - also the roof," Trukhanov added.

The State Emergency Service later showed how rescuers are eliminating the consequences of the terrorist attack. They noted that 22 vehicles and 82 firefighters were involved in extinguishing the fires.

According to the head of the Regional State Administration Oleh Kiper, the liquidation of the consequences of the enemy attack is underway.

"Thanks to the round-the-clock work of power engineers, power supply to two boiler houses has been restored and they have started working, and after the necessary parameters of the heat carrier are reached, heating will gradually return to the homes of those Odessans who have been without heat since yesterday. Critical infrastructure has been powered. In general, over the past day, power companies have returned electricity to the homes of 40 thousand customers," the statement said.

He added that 49 thousand customers are still without power. The works are ongoing.

On the night of Wednesday, February 19, Russian occupation forces massively attacked Odesa with Shahed-type kamikaze drones. There were many explosions, and a densely populated area of the city was hit by the enemy.

Earlier, on the night of February 14, Odesa region came under a Russian drone attack. Enemy attack drones attacked Odesa district. Damage to the port infrastructure and an inactive recreation center was recorded.

As reported by OBOZ.UA, on the night of February 16, Russian occupants attacked a critical infrastructure facility - Mykolaiv CHP. One of the workers was injured as a result of a kamikaze drone strike and taken to the hospital.

More than 100 thousand people were left without heat supply. Such actions of the invader testify to the cunning of the enemy and its desire to continue the war until the complete destruction of the Ukrainian people and state, said President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy.

In Mykolaiv, the power generation was completely destroyed as a result of this Russian drone attack. The city tried to restore heat supply using alternative routes.
