Russia used more than 700 guided bombs, 170 attack drones and almost 80 missiles against Ukraine over the week - Zelenskyy

Russia continued shelling Ukraine throughout the week. From July 8 to the present day, the invaders have launched more than 700 guided bombs against our country.

During the week, the occupiers also used more than 170 drones of various types and almost 80 missiles. This was stated by President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy.

According to the head of state, since the beginning of this week alone, Russia has used more than 700 guided aerial bombs, more than 170 attack drones of various types and almost 80 missiles against Ukraine.

"The scale of this evil must be matched by the scale of solutions to protect life. Each partner can influence the situation, strengthen the defense against terror. And Ukraine is grateful to all our friends who are doing just that. Together we will overcome evil," Zelenskyy said.

The President also clearly demonstrated why Ukraine desperately needs to significantly strengthen its air defense. He posted horrific footage of the destruction caused by Russia in Kyiv, where the invaders bombed hospitals and residential buildings, as well as in the Dnipro, Kharkiv, Kherson, Zaporizhzhia, and Sumy regions.
