On the night of January 24, Russian troops killed three people in the Kyiv region. An enemy attack by the Shaheds led to destruction in Hlevakha and Brovary, and the rescue operation lasted until morning.

This was stated by President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy. He called on Western partners to make it impossible for Russia to obtain components for the production of attack drones and other weapons in circumvention of the sanctions.

"Rescue operations continued throughout the night in Kyiv region after the Shaheds attack. Houses in Brovary and Hlevakha were damaged. Unfortunately, three people were killed. My condolences to their families and friends. There are wounded, and they are being provided with the necessary assistance. The rescue operation was completed only at 9 am," the Head of State noted.

Zelenskyy thanked the staff of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine, medical workers, police officers, and "everyone who helps to save people."

"I also thank every leader, every country that puts pressure on Russia to end this unprovoked and terrorist war. In particular, there must be accountability for every component for the production of "shaheds" and missiles that are supplied in violation of sanctions. Russia would not be able to fight at all if the ability of Russian accomplices to assist this terror and assaults at the front was really limited," the President addressed our country's Western partners.

As a reminder, on the night of January 24, fires broke out in the Kyiv region as a result of a UAV attack, killing three people and injuring one.

In total, 25 Russian drones were shot down over Ukraine during the night, causing destruction and casualties.
