On the Day of the Armed Forces, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky visited a military hospital where Ukrainian soldiers are being treated. The Head of State talked to the defenders about their combat path, health, needs and treatment conditions.

Zelensky posted a video from the hospital on his Telegram channel. During the meeting, the soldiers were also presented with state awards.

"On the Day of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, I visited Ukrainian defenders in the hospital. I talked to the soldiers about their combat path, health, needs and treatment conditions. He also presented awards.

I thank the soldiers for their service and defense of Ukraine. Gratitude from all of us, from the entire Ukrainian people, for your heroism," the president said in a statement.

Earlier it was reported that on December 6, Volodymyr Zelensky congratulated the soldiers of the Armed Forces of Ukraine on their professional holiday. The President also honored the memory of the Heroes who gave their lives in the struggle for Ukraine. Zelensky called on every Ukrainian to remember what our country has already gone through and how much Ukrainian soldiers have paid.

As OBOZ.UA previously reported, the Ukrainian military was also congratulated on the Day of the Armed Forces of Ukraine by the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Valeriy Zaluzhny, the Commander of the Joint Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Serhiy Nayev and the Commander of the Land Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Oleksandr Syrsky. The military leaders expressed their gratitude for the defense of their homeland and the courage of the defenders.
