It's not just Ukrainian Sea Baby drones that make Russian vessels in the Black Sea afraid. The Mamai surface drones of the Security Service of Ukraine also carry out successful operations in the waters.

The press service of the Security Service of Ukraine first spoke about their development. They called it the fastest facility in the Black Sea, which can accelerate to 110 km/h.

At the same time, Sea Baby is not just a naval drone. According to Vasyl Malyuk, it is a multi-purpose platform that is being used effectively today. In particular, these UAVs were used to attack the Crimean bridge and other enemy targets.

Thanks to their participation in operations, the SSU has changed the philosophy of naval operations. In particular, in October 2022, the special service attacked enemy ships in the Sevastopol Bay, hitting four warships, including the Admiral Makarov frigate. This year, the SSU drones hit

- Samum andPavel Derzhavin missile carriers

- the SIG tanker

- the landing ship Olenegorskiy Gornyak,

- damaged the large military tugboat Nikolai Muru

- and the newest reconnaissance and hydrographic ship Vladimir Kozitsky.

As a reminder, on December 23, no enemy ships were spotted in the Black Sea or the Sea of Azov. Instead, Russia has two missile carriers in the Mediterranean Sea with a total volley of 16 Kalibr missiles.

Serhiy Bratchuk, a spokesman for the Ukrainian Naval Forces South, suggested, not without sarcasm, that enemy vessels had driven Ukrainian maritime drones out of the Black Sea and Azov waters.

- The Defence Intelligence of Ukraine said that in 2023, with the help of naval strike drones, Ukrainian soldiers were able to throw the Russian fleet away from the Ukrainian coast. Thanks to accurate attacks on Russian targets in the Black Sea and on the occupied peninsula, the defenders managed to create a 200-mile security strip.

- Malyuk announced "surprises" for the Russians in the Black Sea and spoke about the Sea Baby operations. "The occupiers must realize that they will not be able to hide. We will find the enemy everywhere," he said.
