New data: 34 Russian officers killed in Sevastopol attack on HQ, including Black Sea Fleet commander
The Special Operations Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine have clarified the results of successful special operations in the temporarily occupied Crimea. As a result of a strike on the headquarters in Sevastopol, 34 officers of the Russian Armed Forces were eliminated.
Among them, in particular, is the commander of the Russian Black Sea Fleet. This was reported by the press service of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
"Updated information on the enemy's losses as a result of the special operation of the Special Forces to destroy the Minsk Battleship and the headquarters of the Black Sea Fleet. After the defeat of the Russian Black Sea Fleet headquarters, 34 officers were killed, including the commander of the Russian Black Sea Fleet," the statement said.
It is noted that another 105 occupants were wounded. The headquarters building itself is beyond repair.
In addition, at least 62 Russian occupants were eliminated as a result of the strike on the large amphibious assault ship Minsk. The Ukrainian Armed Forces explained that the personnel were present at the BDC because the Minsk was to go on combat duty the next day.
"We are moving on!" the Ukrainian defenders emphasized.
Earlier, the Chief of the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine Kyrylo Budanov said that two Russian generals were among the wounded in the attack on the Black Sea Fleet headquarters on September 22. According to him, the group's commander, Colonel General Oleksandr Romanchuk, is in a very serious condition. And the Chief of Staff, Lieutenant General Oleg Tsekov, is unconscious after the missiles hit the headquarters building.
As a reminder, a pro-Russian propagandist showed the moment of the attack on the headquarters of the Russian Black Sea Fleet. Later, a video of a direct hit on the building was posted online, proving that Russian air defense did not try to shoot down the missiles.
It became known that the Atesh guerrillas and local residents of Sevastopol were adjusting the Ukrainian Armed Forces' strike on the Black Sea Fleet headquarters in Sevastopol.
