"Magura V5" drone hits occupants' speedboat in Crimea: DIU shows video of operation

The strike was carried out in the area of Narrow Bay

On the night of May 6, the Defence Intelligence of Ukraine hit a Russian speedboat with a Magura V5 maritime drone near the village of Chornomorske in the Yevpatoria district of the occupied Crimea. The invaders' vessel was at the basing point in the area of the Narrow Bay.

This was reported by sources to OBOZ.UA. According to a source in the DIU, an operation was conducted in the area of Narrow Bay, as a result of which the Magura V5 hit an enemy speedboat. Later, the DIU confirmed the information about the attack and released a video of the operation.

The agency reported that the enemy boat was destroyed, the operation was carried out by the DIU Group 13 unit.

"A successful mission in the Narrow Bay in the temporarily occupied Crimea was made possible with the assistance of the United24 platform," the DIU said.

At the same time, at night, Crimea's propaganda publics complained about the attack of marine drones on the peninsula. It was claimed that "after a long break" there was information about the use of MUBs (marine unmanned boats) off the coast of Crimea.

According to a statement by the Russian Defense Ministry, "up to five unmanned boats of the Armed Forces of Ukraine" were allegedly destroyed near the western coast of the peninsula, targeting "military boats in one of the bays near the village of Chornomorske".
