"Intentional terror": Zelenskyy reacted to the new Russian attack on Ukraine and thanked the defenders and emergency workers

President Volodymyr Zelenskyy reacted to the massive missile attack against Ukraine by the Russian Federation on January 23. He stated that it was deliberate terror against ordinary residential buildings in Kyiv, Kharkiv, and Pavlohrad.
In his Telegram, the Head of State noted that rescue operations are ongoing. He expressed gratitude to everyone who is doing their very important work to save people.
"As of now, we know about 22 people who suffered as a result of the enemy shelling of Kyiv. In Kharkiv, according to preliminary data, five people were killed and 51 people, including four children, were injured in the terrorist attack. Twenty-seven people were rescued from the rubble," the Head of State noted.
The President also said that Putin's terrorists had killed one person in Pavlohrad, Dnipro region. The Ukrainian leader expressed his condolences to the families of the victims.
Zelenskyy praised Ukrainian rescuers who continue to do their job and save lives in any situation.
"I am grateful to all our defenders, employees of all emergency services, and all those whose hearts simply feel that we need to take care of others and that we need to help others when lives depend on it," the president emphasized.
As a reminder, on January 23, Russia attacked Ukraine with more than 10 missiles from Tu-95MS aircraft. The enemy also launched ballistic missiles. The explosions occurred in Kyiv, Kharkiv and Pavlohrad, Dnipro region.
In the capital, cars and apartments were burning, and in Kharkiv, the enemy destroyed the entrance of a high-rise building. There are reports of dead and wounded in all three cities.
