Hordii Tiahnybok, a fighter with the "Rubizh" Brigade, who is the son of Oleh Tiahnybok, head of the Svoboda party, was wounded in a battle against the Russian occupiers in the Donetsk region. The soldier underwent two surgeries, and doctors gave a positive outlook for his recovery.
This was announced on May 5 by his father on Facebook. He posted a photo with his son in the hospital.
According to the former MP, Hordii was defending the country in the Bakhmut sector of the frontline and was wounded the day after his 27th birthday.

"He says that now he will celebrate his birthday twice – day after day, on May 3 and 4. Of course, this is not a holiday... but thank God for that. He saved him on the eve of Easter," the soldier's father emphasized.

He added that after the second surgery, doctors assessed his son's condition as moderate, and the prognosis was positive.
"There will be a victory! Moscow will fall!" Oleh Tiahnybok wrote.
