On the evening of Wednesday, May 15, explosions were heard again in the occupied Crimea. They were heard in Simferopol, Sevastopol, and Dzhankoy, as well as in Hvardiyske, where a military airfield is located.
This was reported by local publics, including the Crimean wind Telegram channel. Meanwhile, the occupiers have already announced the operation of their air defense system and the alleged downing of missiles.
In Simferopol, fires broke out due to "falling debris". And in Sevastopol, at least six explosions were heard in the area of the Belbek airfield.
The so-called governor of Sevastopol, Mikhail Razvozhayev, said that the invaders had allegedly repelled the attack and reported "shooting down" the missiles. According to him, there was no damage to civilian infrastructure.
As OBOZ.UA reported, on the night of Wednesday, May 15, a series of explosions occurred in the occupied Crimea. The situation was restless in Sevastopol, Simferopol, Bakhchisarai and Yevpatoria, and a missile threat was announced on the peninsula.
The attack on Sevastopol was carried out in two "waves", and the Belbek airfield could have been hit.
