Crimea complains of large-scale "Neptune" attack: explosions were heard. Video
An alert has been issued in the temporarily occupied Sevastopol due to an alleged attack by the Ukrainian Armed Forces. The occupation authorities said that the air defense system was operating in the city, repelling a missile attack.
This was reported by the so-called governor of Sevastopol Mikhail Razvozhayev. At the same time, monitoring Telegram channels note that the explosions were heard even before the alarm was announced.
Razvozhayev claims that Russian air defense allegedly shot down one "Neptune" anti-ship missile over the Black Sea, far from the coast. However, it is impossible to confirm this information from independent sources. The Ukrainian side has not yet commented on this information.
"In Sevastopol, the military is repelling the attack of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, air defense is working. According to preliminary information, one "Neptune" anti-ship missile has already been shot down over the water area at a considerable distance from the coast. This statement cannot yet be confirmed by independent sources. The Ukrainian side has not commented on these reports.
All services are on high alert. Please remain calm, observe security measures, stay in temporary shelters or safe places," the statement said.
Earlier it was reported that on the night of November 19 and 20, the Ukrainian Defense Forces successfully hit several military facilities in the Russian rear using drones and Western long-range weapons. This indicates that Ukraine has already begun to use long-range weapons systems provided by the West to create a more complex and effective series of strikes.
