Bezuhla said that the Ukrainian military had started shooting down fewer Shaheds: Ihnat explained why it is not true

The percentage of Shaheds shot down has not decreased at all

MP Mariana Bezuhla said that the Air Force is shooting down fewer Shaheds. According to her, this is due to the transfer of some personnel of the Air Force and other units of the Defense Forces to the infantry.

However, these statements have been sharply criticized by the spokesman for the Ukrainian Air Force, Yuriy Ihnat, who considers them manipulative. He wrote about this on his Facebook page.

"Mariana Bezuhla's office writes that the Air Force shoots down fewer Shaheds because many people are sent to the infantry from the Air Force (and not only). Yes, I confirm, they are! It is not a good time... and these referrals are very painful for the Air Force. And, of course, this has a certain impact on the overall picture. But there are appropriate decisions, we have to implement them, and you understand why! But how can we not manipulate this in the style of blindness? Let me explain why Mariana's office is lying!" he said in a statement.

Ihnat emphasized that the downing of the Shaheds is carried out not only by the Air Force, but also by other units of the Defense Forces, such as the Army, Navy, Air Assault Forces and Border Guards. Ihnat noted that data from official reports indicate that the effectiveness of drone shootdowns has not decreased.

"The percentage of downed Shahed drones has not decreased at all, there are daily official reports! Let me explain once again - along with the Shahed drones, for the second month in a row, there is something else flying, as they say, "made of shit and sticks", which we call "UAVs of an unspecified type" in our reports. Half of them are labeled as "locally lost". So the lie about fewer being shot down is obvious!" he emphasized.

As a reminder, on the night of November 2, Russian troops again attacked Kyiv with Shaheds. The invaders hit residential buildings in six districts of the city.

Russia launched the first Shaheds, which opened the countdown to the night attack, before 8 p.m. on November 1. They flew in several groups. The launches continued throughout the night.

It was also reported that a Shahed hit a high-rise building in Sumy. At least five people were injured, including a pregnant woman. Residents of two damaged high-rise buildings were left without electricity and gas.
