Air defense systems and missiles to them: Zelenskyy lists new EU aid to be transferred to Ukraine

President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy said that there is important news from the European Commission regarding the allocation of aid to Ukraine. We are talking about additional air defense systems and missiles to them.

Zelenskyy said this in an address on March 4. He noted that the funds for the defense of Europe would be significant.

"There is very important news from the European Commission regarding significant funds for the defense of Europe. For us, this is, first of all, additional air defense - additional systems, additional missiles, additional opportunities to defend our cities and villages, our positions. And all this creates a good additional basis for the end of the war," Zelenskyy said.

The president also said that Russia has not changed its demands regarding Ukraine. According to him, the Kremlin will continue to insist Kyiv give up Ukrainian territories and reduce the army.

Zelenskyy emphasized that no one could force Ukraine to give in to Russia's demands as long as Ukrainians are united and stand firm.

"We know that the Russians have not changed their positions and demands regarding Ukraine. They will demand a reduction of our army, they will want a legal abandonment of our territories, as well as a significant political deformation of Ukraine with the weakening of the Ukrainian Constitution. And I will say that, in fact, as long as we all stand together and strong in Ukraine, as long as we are here, no one will succeed - the peace will be worthy," Zelenskyy emphasized.
